Note that the Coronation Market Plus Fund has a recommended investment period of at least five years as it invests primarily in growth assets. No, you can choose to withdraw your money at any time, at no cost. It usually takes 1-2 business days to withdraw your money.

If you elect for Coronation to collect the investment amount from your bank account by way of a once off debit order (electronic collection), we will apply a restriction on your ability to withdraw these funds for the first 40 days as debit orders can be reversed within 40 days. If you elect to do an EFT, there is a 14 day clearance period. This protects both you and us from fraud.

You can withdraw the full value of your investment at the value which is calculated daily.

No, the value of your investment may go down as well as up and Coronation does not provide any guarantees with respect to the protection of your capital or a specific rate of return. What we can guarantee is that our investment professionals will manage your money with due care and to the best of their ability. You only pay one annual fee for the management and administration of the fund. For the Coronation Market Plus Fund, this fee depends on performance and will be between 0.75% and 2.4% (excl. VAT).

If the fund’s net return (after fees and costs) is less than its benchmark’s over the preceding 60 months, a fee of 0.75% is charged. If the net return is in line with the benchmark, a fee of 1.25% is charged. We share in 20% of performance above the benchmark +2% up to a maximum total annual fee of 2.4%. The fund benchmark is a composite of local and international market indices (70% shares; 30% bonds and cash).
